To arrive on stage before you, I have traversed treacherous landscapes sculpted by fear and shame. It nourishes me to know that this ordeal brings you brave observers closer to your truths. People feel things when I perform, and it's a solemn privilege to be given an opportunity and a platform to be seen and heard. Putting on a Stiff Wiggle show is a lot of work for me, and it turns out, it's not very fun. Not yet, at least.

I know I look like a dude, but I'm not. I'm non-binary. It would mean a great deal if you'd use the pronouns "they" or "them" instead of "he" or "him" when talking about me. And as cute as "Mr. Wiggle" may sound, the gender-neutral equivalent to Mrs. or Mr. is Mx., pronounced Mix.

my expertise spans a variety of synth and synth-adjacent topics, including but not limited to:

• analog and digital synths
• working with software (virtual) and hardware
• modular synthesis
• programming drum machines and groove boxes
• making music with smartphones and tablets
• operating Digital Audio Workstations such as FL Studio and Ableton Live
• circuit bending, generative music, and so much more!

You've certainly heard of WITCHPOLICE RADIO, the city's preeminent music and culture podcast. Sam's been at it for well over a decade, shining a light on roach-infested corners of this town, causing much scattering and dissemination of good music. I'm positively chuffed to announce that Winter of Wiggle and its older sibling Summer of Stiff have been co-considered to be one of the top ten releases of 2024.
