In a nutshell, my schtick involves stripping down to my gitch, coaxing up some malicious grooves from my imposingly complicated modular synthesizer, then screaming into a vocoder about my insatiable lust and fear of abandonment.

I've been doing this for awhile now - I've been writing and producing music for more than half my life. I'm getting pretty good at this, and no one else is really doing what I do up there. Audiences seem to think I'm some sort of DJ or something, which, no. These are my songs, and I'm performing them live in front of you. DJs are another thing entirely; what they do is fine, but they're not making music. Ultimately I have no control over how I'm perceived, but I do have a website where I can set things straight. So there you go.

I know I look like a dude, but I'm not. I'm non-binary. It would mean a great deal if you'd use the pronouns "they" or "them" instead of "he" or "him" when talking about me. And as cute as "Mr. Wiggle" may sound, the gender-neutral equivalent to Mrs. or Mr. is Mx., pronounced Mix.

You've certainly heard of WITCHPOLICE RADIO, the city's preeminent music and culture podcast. Sam's been at it for well over a decade, shining a light on roach-infested corners of this town, causing much scattering and dissemination of good music. I'm positively chuffed to announce that Winter of Wiggle and its older sibling Summer of Stiff have been co-considered to be one of the top ten releases of 2024.
